Though we’d love to engage with everyone personally, our talent team is only able to speak with applicants whose background is closely aligned with the requirements for each role. You should finish the process with a great understanding of both the position and Live English as a company.

>> For some roles, it can be challenging to evaluate on a resume/CV alone, so you may be asked to provide a live demo or a recorded video submission. This is an opportunity to put your skills into action, and ensure you’ll be able to manage the responsibilities of your future role.

We’ve outlined a few things to consider before your interview:
– Your virtual interview will take place via Google Meet.
– Find a well-lit and quiet environment with no distractions to complete your interview.
– Use a compatible device and close unnecessary brower tabs and apps.
– Ensure you have an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet with a front-facing camera, or a laptop/desktop computer running Windows 10 or higher, or Apple macOS 12 (Monterey) or higher.
– Check that your internet connection is stable and strong and that the audio and webcam on your device are working.
– Position the camera so that you are centered on the screen; if you wear glasses, adjust room lighting to reduce lens glare.
How long does the hiring process take?
Every day, we work diligently to create a seamless candidate experience. To be fair and objective, our hiring process takes anywhere from one to two weeks. While we try to get back to you within this timeline, some circumstances may require additional time. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
Do I have to send a cover letter with my resume/CV?
No, you don’t have to send a cover letter with your resume, but including a few sentences about your relevant experience, along with your skills and interests can be very helpful and may maximize your chances of getting an interview.
